Sergey Chechyotko, piano

Sergey ChechyotkoSERGEY CHECHYOTKO received his professional education in music schools of his native Mariy El Republic, and in piano classes of Kazan and Moscow State Conservatories. He won first prize in the "Young Talents of the Mariy El Republic" competition. Mr. Chechetko has worked in the Helicon Opera Theater in Moscow since 1998. He has an enduring interest in recording new music, and performs it with particular ease, intelligent taste, and technical brilliance.

In 2004 entered Academy named after Gnessins (composition class of G. V. Tchernov). A laureate of All-Russian contest "Young talents of Mariy El Republic" (Ioshkar-Ola, 1993), All-Russian contest of concertmasters (Kazan, 1994), Esenin contest of composers (Moscow, 2005), a laureate of 3rd harp contest, contest named after Y. Shishakov.

Accepted to Original Authors & Composers or Publishers (SACEM), France, in 2006. Cooperates with Robert Martin Publishing House (France).

Author of the works: "The kingdom of insects" (piano cycle of 12 plays); opera triptych on the words by K. Tchukovski ("Mukha-Tsokotukha", "Skriuchennaya pesnia", "Kradenoye solntse"); melodeclamation cycle on the words by V. Mayakovski; many other.
